"Not all, but they tend to be similar to each other in concept. Suminagashi I have not done, for instance, but It would not be too different from some forms of painting. I've got some foci, like origami, but that is because I can use origami very easily and readily to communicate alongside words."

"We certainly try to. Come harvest time every hand is needed. No sure sitting there and looking pretty if it means you're gonna go hungry that winter. I know some clans do it differently....but I don't mind our way, everyone coming together."

I seek out understanding of the means used to produce the lifestyle and resources that I enjoy. Most folks show care and attention to the heimin to a certain extent. But shiba was a kami that knelt to a man. When a god sets an example in humility, I am compelled to follow. Not that I am always humble, but I find it important to remind myself occasionally."
