[D5, EA] Bustle and blow (Expecting/Open)

[Shiba Haru]

"I am, I hope you are as well. I haven't met nearly everyone here yet, how about you?"

[Asahina Sakura]

"Only a handful unfortunately."

[Shiba Haru]

"Well I am more than happy to help there if I can, introduce you to a few people." He grows a coy smile, looking more like his brother than normal. "Is there anyone here you've been hoping to meet?"

[Asahina Sakura]

Her brow furrowed in momentary confusion, "Hm? Like who?"

The ephemeral second hand embarrassment for his ward's naivety pressed the air and Sakura could've facepalmed.
"Oh! Oh... um. I. Uh. See... i don't know?"

[Shiba Haru]

"Well no need to rush, we meet who we were meant to meet. Take us for example, meeting here for the first time today fate must have some plan for us. I'm interested to find out what it is."

[Asahina Sakura]

What?
"What?"
Sakura blinked.
Her ghostly chaperone, having grown incredibly frustrated with the girl, threw his hands up and stormed off.
"Do you know something I don't, Haru-san?"

[Shiba Haru]

"I promise you I have no more insight then you have, less so I am sure. Whatever reason the fortunes have for put us together is beyond me.

Perhaps we are fated be come great enemies." he said with mock anger before returning to his normal jovial self.

"I seriously doubt it though, more likely just a new a friend to trade stories and letters with. But who knows, anything is possible."

[Asahina Sakura]

"I- um- I... The Asahina have no enemies? We're pacifists? I literally don't hate anyone?" Sakura's brow furrowed deeply and a small pout sat itself on her lips.

[Shiba Haru]

"And the Phoenix are devoted to peace as well, I'm sorry for my poor sense of humor."

[Asahina Sakura]

"Then we have that in common. Um. Better friends than sworn enemies? It might break my heart," she said quietly, despite the wind.

[Shiba Haru]

"I desire nothing more than to be your friend, how close a friend is entirely up to you."

[Asahina Sakura]

"It never hurts to have more friends? At least, I think? I don't, um, actually know, not that well, not really. I tend to um, muck things up? Sometimes rather spectacularly," she gave a self-depreciating smirk.

[Shiba Haru]

"Oh I know all about that, my best friend has broken my wrist TWICE because of my own stupidity and I recently got in a rather heated argument with my brother. But the great thing about friends is that if they are true friends they don't judge you based on one bad moment."

[Asahina Sakura]

Shock bloomed on Sakura's features, "How terrible!" she shook her head slowly, "Did it heal right?"
She blinked. Twice. "Oh. It's been more than one moment. But it's alright. I um. I'm usually too busy to mind, much?"

[Shiba Haru]

Haru rolled his left wrist around and smiled.

"Oh it's fine, I am fortunate that a skilled healer was available to me. You seem distressed though, I would listen if you wished to talk about it. Are people usually unkind to you?"

[Asahina Sakura]

The look she gives his demonstration is a clinical one, but she seems satisfied enough. Her gaze ticks back to his face, "What? Oh! No? No! I just, I'm not distressed, exactly? It can be frustrating, sure, not to be able to um, communicate? properly? with others? but when I really need to be heard, um, with spirits and ghosts and the like... I know what I'm doing, so...!" She gave a small shrug but it was coupled with a reassuring smile nonetheless.

[Shiba Haru]

"Hmm that's odd, I don't have any trouble understanding you. Maybe the problem isn't with you but with those around you."

[Asahina Sakura]

Her eyes widened, "I.. would never dream to insinuate..."

[Shiba Haru]

"Of course you wouldn't, but having not met any of the people who don't want to be your friend I have the luxury of saying they are narrowminded fool who lack vision." he said confidently.
