Are bladed weapons (katana) available to us if we want to practice at the Poll of the Perfect Stroke?
Bit weird to practice at a bathing pool
The Pool of the perfect stroke is a basin of water that people practice trying to cut a leaf without disturbing the water at.
Funny. I ruled it as a bathing pool for this game, and it has been used as such for this game already

I'm not sure I understand the It Fell Off The Back of the Caravan event except for it being split into phases. What are the limits on how many times a player can roll/assist? As written, it seems we could have one player roll with the four other assisting for every roll, likely cheesing the event.

You can benefit from assist only once per roll.

I knew I forgot the time limit when transposing from notebook to thread.

You have 15, for lack of a better term, turns. Adding that to the event

Do we know if Stances apply yet?
Eff it. They do.
You're opening quite the can of worms by saying that, since you know have to rule how the extra action from the water stance works, and what exactly air and earth do in that context.

Honestly? Since the elements of the rolls are forced anyway, having stances seems to complicate things more than anything else (no strategy there, just making the Void and Fire rolls easier on the PCs).

EDIT: Also, can the same PC attempt the same roll several times?
EDIT2: Can the generic opportunity use (Opp)(Opp): Provide assistance to the next character to attempt a check to accomplish something similar. be used to offer assistance without spending an action? If so, is it limited to the same skill or does it work for any (since all the rolls are ultimately targeted at the same objective)?

True. I was thinking simplicity- water lets you roll for an action then go to assist.

Air certainly doesn't gain a benefit.

It's not a conflict or Intrigue. So no stances. Just regular opportunity spends

Still for the event:
Is the idea that each character must act once (in any order) then they get to act again, as if the event was split in four rounds? Or can the same character do several rolls in a row?
If so, can they immediately attempt to retry a roll they failed?

The idea is not to be as structured as rounds, but yeah. Essentially each PC should be taking separate turns.

Curious if the iai bracket will work like NCAA basketball (locked in, technically only power protecting in the first round) or NFL playoffs (the lowest remaining seed each round fades the highest remaining seed).

For some reason, the idea of Mitsuko cheering for Rin while sitting beside Ahiru who wants to cheer for Hirame but is much more proper about it is... Just gives me a chuckle and I kinda want to rp it.

That way is simpler. So Rin v Hirame in the finals. I like it!
