D5EM, A Messy Appointment (Expecting)

Urusai blinks.

His own face flushes quite entirely.

The voice in his mind says that she's got good sense, liking Urusai, even if she might be quieter about some things.

Uncle!

The voice reaffirms its assertion.

[Asahina Sakura]

"I am so, so sorry Seppun-sama, I spoke out of turn." She kept her gaze dropped.

[Seppun Urusai]

Urusai shakes his head.

"Nothing for which to apologize," he says, quickly. "Nothing at all."

[Asahina Sakura]

"Every once in a while, it's easy to lose track of who's talking and I ...I didn't mean to, um, rather I wasn't eavesdropping, or at least, not exactly... i wasn't trying to."
She steals a glance to read his expression and gather whether to collect her book and make a quick exit.

[Seppun Urusai]

Urusai's expression is earnest, open, and he says "I mean it; nothing to apologize for. I mean, I understand, since I've got my own...company."

The voice in his mind says he's more than company.

"Please, stay."

[Asahina Sakura]

Sakura nods slowly, tucking white hair behind an ear, and sits a touch straighter, "If it's really alright..." -her cheeks bright red.

Cat's out of the bag now.
You're miserable company, you know that, right?

She let out a sigh. "I rather like where I am, to be honest."

[Seppun Urusai]

"I'm glad of it," Urusai replies. "There's going to be little enough time as it is without making it any shorter."

[Asahina Sakura]

Sakura gave a disheartened nod. "Unfortunately."

[Seppun Urusai]

"Then we should make as much of it as we can," Urusai affirms.

"I shall look forward to it."
