[Day 6, Early Morning] A New Friend! (Closed to all but Hirame)

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

Her tone was dry.

"Reckon we can call him Jiro, given th'circumstances. An' don't our hosts go outta their way t'make sure we got food?"

[Funegao no Hirame]

"Hah. Right." Hirame grinned ruefully. "On both counts. I'm still not used to that. My Captain rotates the lot of us through kitchen duty from time to time. Says it keeps us honest." He frowned. "I'm not really sure how that's supposed to work, except that the occasional reminder makes more kitchen duty an effective threat."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Hell, I like kitchen duty. Yeah, y'eat last at mealtime, but y'can usually snack a bit t'make up for it... but right now, if th'Crane're buyin', we may as well fill up, yeah?"

[Funegao no Hirame]

"Sounds good to me!" Hirame said cheerfully.
