"Maneuvers, then", she nodded. "Lead the way, and I will follow."

Confident that she was, she felt in no position to dominate the Shinjo's time, but perhaps misunderstood the girl might enjoy getting out instead.

"The Crane provided a large enclosure. It should serve our need well." she nodded. "For now, let's ride along the edge. That should allow us enough room to get up to speed."

She rode beside the Lion, observing her riding style and her comfort as their pace increased.

And ride along she did. Michi clearly wasn't highly skilled in the art, but she did indeed have drive and confidence. After some turns, quick stops and some affectionate petting of Hayakawa's head she looked to Jingyi with a bit of a smirk.

"As I said when we first met, it is always enjoyable."

Then she turned the horse about again and galloped a short distance to the Shinjo.

"You have a bit of my envy, being able to practice so often, might there be a matter I could return this favor on?"

"Embrace what you enjoy about it. I think you will find the rest comes easier." she smiled. After thinking a moment of consideration, she asked, "Do you spend much time in the dojo, Akodo-sama?"

[Akodo Michi]

"My earliest hours yes, and more if I find time throughout the day, Shinjo-san", Michi told her.

[Shinjo Jingyi]

"I haven't practiced here yet." she said. "I'm trained with the sword, but I use a bow far more often."

[Akodo Michi]

"If you wish to meet in the dojo, it would be an honor to spar with you", the Lion said sincerely.

[Shinjo Jingyi]

"I would greatly appreciate that." she nodded. "You and Hayakawa are getting along well. Would you like to try something new?"

[Akodo Michi]

"Would you prefer the afternoon, after our test?" she asked. "And as to what we do next, I would like to practice archery from horseback, if you have equipment available."

[Shinjo Jingyi]

"That would be fine." she agreed. "And, archery it is."

The Unicorn suggested the Lion give Hayakawa free rein, to get used to the horse's independent movements. Meanwhile, targets were prepared.
