[EM3] Tea and contemplation (expecting)

[Asahina Sakura]

"That seems to be the ongoing theme? um, frustration? about the challenges!" Sakura quickly takes a sip of her tea.
"I hope to meet Shiba Haru-san at some point, then again, I want to meet just about everyone? I mean, yes, everyone, but there's a lot of contestants, and I'm, I mean.... Go? Go is a good game."
She nodded. "Shiba Jiro-san and I talked art. It was a good talk."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Imagine you were better able t'hold up your end of th'conversation than I am."

Kasumi grimaced.

"Like... that origami he does, seems like magic t'me."

[Asahina Sakura]

"Oh! Yes! He um, made me a flower? It was, quite elegant," she nodded a bunch, still completely oblivious to the Mantis' feelings for the artisan.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"I got an octopus. He's guardin' my tea set now."

[Asahina Sakura]

"That sounds adorable... Oh you have a travelling tea set, as well? What does it look like? Was it a gift? I received mine from my aunt and uncle, after my last winter with them. It um, bares the Asako family mon? I cherish it very much."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

Kasumi blinked.

"Uh, mine's also from th' Asako. Got it in thanks for savin' a courtier who'd gone over th'side of a dismasted Phoenix vessel. S'real pretty- those Phoenix colors that look a bit like a good sunset? Nicest thing I own."

[Asahina Sakura]

"Isn't that something? The reasoning behind the gift, for me, isn't heroic- what a show of bravery!"

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]
