"...ah, nevermind. Was definitely about to say something wildly inappropriate. I'll just finish this cup off instead."

He chuckles.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Bright boy."

She poured the next round.

"Smarter'n I am, anyhow, seein' as I just gave us more of an excuse..."

[Shiba Jiro]

"We just have to take our time," he says with a smile.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Oh. No. Damn. What a pity."

[Shiba Jiro]

"Indeed. Taking my time so I don't drink too quickly, spending the evening looking into lovely pools of brown. Whatever will I do with myself."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"You don't want my suggestions on that."

[Shiba Jiro]

"I do. I suspect it's likely not something that should be shared. And likely wiser not to. But that doesn't make me less interested in the suggestions."

"Well. I dunno what you'd do with yourself, but..."

She leaned a little closer and whispered some notions which, while fully in keeping with the hormonal impulses of teenagers, especially one who had served aboard a less-than-refined ship, are probably best not fully articulated here.

He blinks, quiet for a moment at the suggestions, with a slight blush before sipping. "I... believe you were correct in your previous assessment. I very much should not have heard that. But I am glad that I did anyway."

She had a slight blush of her own.

"I believe... I may need a cold bath now Kasumi-san," he states with a nervous grin.

A pause.

[Shiba Jiro]

"I find myself both loving and cursing those words and the images they created," he says with a nod. "I would say I'll see you tomorrow, but I don't think I'll stop seeing you until we meet again."

"Well. We'd better get to it."

She knocked back her cup, rose on... somewhat unsteady feet, and offered a bow.

"Thank ya for a lovely evening, Shiba-san."

[Shiba Jiro]

"Jiro," he corrects. "After sharing that, Jiro."

"You have yourself a lovely night, Kasumi-san.". He finished his own and rose to bow.
