Actually, the mention of brotherhood there made me wonder. Does the brotherhood hold big meetings between temple heads like a winter court for only monks? Would they invite reps from clan monk orders in the same way there are reps for the brotherhood at samurai courts?

They do have conclaves when there are important spiritual matters of the Empire that need to be discussed.

Should the Crane and the Scorpion be merged into the Hawk Clan to have one clan for each element? (No)

Is Fudoism any good? (No)

Do these Perfect Land sect types have the right ideas after all? (No)

Not as extravagant as winter courts, mostly just discussion mixed with some punching when talks break down
