You have your rooms in the lodging. Those could be private threads. But no one should be having private threads on the training grounds. Or any place that reasonably can hold multiple people at the same time

Rumors are as integral to the Courts as the sword is integral to the Battlefield. Even the youth have learned of their importance.

To Spread a Rumor:
It is a TN 3 (Air 2) Courtesy or Games skill check. Limit Once Per Time Slot.

To Track a Rumor:
It is a TN 3 (Water 2) Courtesy or Games skill check. This TN may be increased if the person spreading the rumor uses the Rustling of Leaves shuji. This may be attempted once per time slot.

How does this interact this the Whispers of Court Shuji? Or is it only going to affect things that are going on in a specific thread? (And if so, any idea how?)

Whispers of Court allows for rumors to be spread as part of a check during an intrigue. Separate from this roll.

I do have a few intrigues planned, so it could come into play.

Initially I was thinking "your clan sent you with an appropriate gift", and leaving the details to you.

However, a few schools, and a few techniques, specifically deal with acquiring items/crafting art/etc.

For abilities/ techniques that work like Akodo Soldier's:

Drilled Precision: When making an Attack or Movement action check, you may remove an amount of strife from yourself up to your school rank . For each strife you remove this way, add one kept ring die set to a success to the check and receive 1 fatigue.

Given how timing usually works, I'm assuming you must have that strife on you *prior* to the test itself, right? You cannot remove strife that would be accrued during the same roll you're using the technique in?

Does this also mean any Void we have in excess of half maximum at the end of a day is lost?
