Revenge of the Minor Clans (D9, EA) [Crane Quarters]

[Suzume Rin]

Rin is visibly relieve that she is not in trouble...captain-sama will have to deal with things on his own.

Looking over at Hirame
"Get rid of it? Can't just go throwing useful stuff out like this. You're lucky my ma didn't hear that."
Then again...what..what could she actually do with all this straw?

"Maybe we just move it out to the deck for now as we think of a place for it?"

[Funegao no Hirame]

Grunting as he folded the futon in half, Hirame looked back at Rin. "Hey, if she doesn't want 'em, you can have 'em. Don't know that it's all that useful, but maybe your brothers and sisters would like 'em."

They were, after all, rather small.

[Kakita Ahiru]

"I have no use for the straw, but I do not mind at all that it goes to someone who needs it or has a use for it. Perhaps the academy will repurpose it into training dummies," Ahiru suggested as she listened.

She had flagged down a servant to send for tea... and also let them know she'd need someone to sweep over the room later. She sure wasn't doing that.

[Suzume Rin]

Grunting as he folded the futon in half, Hirame looked back at Rin. "Hey, if she doesn't want 'em, you can have 'em. Don't know that it's all that useful, but maybe your brothers and sisters would like 'em."

They were, after all, rather small.

"Well...reckon we could. But Kakita-sama's right, maybe best just to leave 'em for the Academy. Can't carry them all back home myself."
Rin strained under a heavy chest of drawers as she shakily heaves it out the door, down the passage and into its original location, limbs wobbling alarmingly.

"Dunno why they decided to store everyone's formal clothes in Kakita-sama's room. Ain't proppa using a Kuge's room for storage, look at how much there is!"

[Funegao no Hirame]

Hirame was carrying the heavy futon, but that didn't stop him from (awkwardly) turning to stare at Rin.

"Uh... pretty sure this is all her stuff." He said, shrugging, then grunting from shrugging while carrying a futon.

[Kakita Ahiru]

"Well it's not all of my things. Just what I brought here for the tournament," Ahiru remarked as she watched the two of them do all the heavy lifting. She had perspirated more than enough already earlier, and had just come from the baths, so no way she was getting sweaty and dirty all over again now.

[Suzume Rin]

Rin had been mid scoff as she lowered the drawers, but it quickly turned into a cough (definitely the dust!)

"Oh...well ummm. Can't have too many socks I suppose?...might get cold in winter, so you have to wear two pairs at the same time."
Rin wished she had more socks, she has simple needs.

"Real nice of you though Kakita-sama, this way you had enough for if someone else lost all their baggage on the journey. I didn't even think of that!"
The Sparrows dashes off to start moving pillows...these ones were even softer than the Phoenix ones, which were softer than the Crab ones which were way softer than hers!
