"I imagine that if I wanted to see you in this color, I'll need to see about making that happen," he says with a nod. "Though I have no clue how much this would cost me. I'll need to ask after we find the spices for the curry. Any clue what they were?"

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"A few'a th'more common ones're coriander, turmeric, cumin, an' chili peppers. Could also use some fennel, fenugreek, garlic, nutmeg, clove, or cinnamon if we c'n find 'em, but ginger will do in a pinch. I think."

She gave a bashful grin.

"Never made th'stuff m'self, so..."

"But you've had it before. I'll just have to have you there by my side and put your tongue to use," he says with a grin, before looking around the shop to see where the spices miggt be stored.

Oh that is NOT fair!

"Well, I'll help y'any way y'need..."

He smirked and blushed, the teasing apparently as welcome as it is embarrassing, leaned over slightly and quietly returned with, "Any way?"

He straightened. "I could use help finding the spices. Perhaps you can navigate for me? Take the lead and I'll follow."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Did I stutter?"

And she led off, threading her way through the wares.

Jiro smiles after her while following. "I may not need any spices. Might have all the spice I can handle right here."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Why Jiro-kun, whatever could you mean by that?"

As if I didn't know.

"It's just a guess right now. I'll need a taste to be certain," he replied, as they came to the spices.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Hm, not sure this is a good place for a taste test..."

She looked over the spice racks, part of her shrieking about not being an idiot, part of her thoroughly enjoying herself.

He agreed. "That's true. This isn't the place."

"You said coriander and tumeric," he looks through the spices. "And..."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Cumin an' chli peppers..."

[Shiba Jiro]

He pokes around and locates those as well. And goes through the rest of the list with her. "And when you had it, was it a fish, chicken or tofu curry?"

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Chicken, but I think tofu'd take it about as well."

She was glancing back at the cloth bolt.

Such a fine thing...

He smiles at her. "You want me to dress you up then, eh? If I can..."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Maybe just a little..."

He nods at that.

While Touji wasn't in the building today, one of his dealers was. To get the materials and spices requested, will cost 1 koku.

Jiro was not a haggler. He suspected someone less cursed by Daikoku surely could have talked the man down. But Jiro was glad to simply pay because he knew he'd end up paying more otherwise.

So he counted out the bu and handed it off, collecting the things he had purchased.

Looking to Kasumi, he smiles. "It may be a few days. I'll need some measurements though. If my eyes could do so then I'd have already taken many more measurements than needed, but they sadly cannot. Won't stop me from continuing to try though."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

Kasumi was a mixture of pleased... and annoyed.

"Shoulda had me dicker with th'bastard. Y'don't haggle, y'get took! 'Specially in a place like this..."

She sighed.

"But what's done's done."

She glanced at him.

I want to do way the hell more than hold his hand, but even that's... not possible.

"S'pose we'll have to book a time for a quick goin'-over, then."
