The sparrow is sorry for the peacock at the burden of its tail - Suzume Rin Q&A

As always, my thanks to Ender for running a campaign. They are typically a lot of work and with the holidays approaching I know it has been doubly busy for them.

Thanks also to everyone who collaborated with Rin and me throughout the course of the game. Whether it was RP, chatting about rules or just sharing jokes it is always appreciated.

On my end, I feel Rin is a fairly simple character to play and matches pretty closely to her clan tropes. But tropes are not necessarily bad and I very much enjoyed playing the little sparrow just happy to be there. I can certainly imagine her returning for future games at a later date.

Hello, first mate! Lots of fun scenes writing together, as always.

What do you see in Rin's future? Second place in the Topaz; that's gotta be big things, right?

*hugs* Secret yam digging was a very appropriate start to getting to know Rin. Natsuko/Suzu is really happy to have run into the Sparrow's perspective on things and looks forward to seeing her at the wedding.

With such a large family, how much detail did you actually put into them? Did they have names to start with, or acquire them as you needed to toss and uncle/cousin/sibling into a story?

How will Rin actually handle the potential move to duties among the Crab? Or does she have some other path planned? Legions/Magistrate?

Hmmm, biggest curveball might have been making it into the finals, I got very lucky, twice!
Biggest curveball from Rin was either her accent or her winding up with a nice Crab lady.
Biggest missed opportunity is that I only met a few of the cast, would have loved to chat with more.
Favourite scene is tough I had lots of really good ones with lots of good people. I think she can Hirame were on the same wavelength in their scenes!

Thank you! :D I know I had solid odds on it but you never know with Sakkaku! Will we see Shinko in the future continuing to pursue the blade?

As always captain. I'm not exactly sure on her future (that might depend on when future games happen/what they are), but for now she's aiming to start the long path to being an emerald magistrate.

Yams build bridges :D

The family I think I had literally named the brothers 'son 1, son 2, son 3' and the sister the same after Rin. I also enjoyed fleshing them out as Rin talks about her 50+ cousins and small army of aunts and uncles!
I think Rin would take any Crab duties extremely serious (as probably befits a paragon of duty) but she's worried she doesn't have that lifelong training most Crab get about the evil things. For now her goal is as a magistrate!
