1. Why Kasumi in particular?

2. He ever going to tell Natsuko who the other party was?

A) Not really any I think. The tests were about what I expected, and my ability to do them was what I expected.

B) Being a bit less refined than I thought, though I always planned to have him be very much less focused on samurai propriety, especially for someone that will spend most of their life in court.

C) I think I pretty much swung at most opportunities I was interested in. Failure is not so much a missed opportunity to me.

D) Cannot name a favorite scene. Had a lot of fun drama going on that I loved.

1) Kasumi was real to him. Not a mask. And she was responsive, confident and unafraid to speak her mind.

2) He will not. If asked by anyone other than Natsuko, they will get a "None of you damn business," ​while Natsuko will get an apology for not being willing to say it.

Speaking of Mitsuko, thanks for the threads we were able to do. I'm especially bummed that I crapped out on what was shaping up to be a great dramatic thread for Mitsuko and Jiro. RL not on our side.

But Jiro's secret is relatively safe with Mitsuko, since she's not likely to say anything to anyone but Rin and Rin is too nice to ask.

Thanks for asking about the character link way back. Apologies for then foisting the expressionless void on you! Though that went in more interesting directions than I could have planned with the backup Loremaster (in case ishiken weren't allowed).

What was the seed for the twins and how they developed in relation to one another? And, if different, what made you land on an artisan concept?

Are there scenes the pair could have had that you'd have liked to see but we didn't get to?

The twins were because I wanted to play a connection with the player. We worked on the setup for a while before game start. It was very much about two brothers that understood and knew each other as twins do, with quite a few similarities like their desire to perfect their chosen art, but one was naturally aggressive and the other naturally soft hearted. We built separately but agreed on a few things in the process, then fleshed out background and history details together.

I loved my scenes with Natsuko and was happy to have weirdness I kind of dragged external tension onto the character tie and hadn't expected it at the beginning, so I'm sorry if that bugged you. But I am happy that there are weighty issues on both sides that they need to work through. And I hope that we can reprise and continue to grow their story together!

Didn't bug me at all. Glad you've enjoyed playing out the repercussions. It definitely added a different direction to where I thought they might go.

I kept meaning to try out the communication inversion, but the moment for 'invoking the power of the void' (said in echoey voice of import and doom) never felt quite right.
