Mebuki, niece of Yoritomo and betrothed to the Crown Prince, Sotorii, is a talented Shugenja, with claim to have Komori blood. She wakes during the LN of Day 9, and begins her prayers. At that, the weather is perfectly set for the day. The sun shines brightly on Tsuma, and the weather is warm and comfortable, with a light breeze. It's not too hot, and not too cold. All you need is a light jacket!

Day 10
Breakfast consists of Rokugani style omelettes over steamed rice. Steamed vegetables are paired with it, as is a reduction of the pork tonkotsu broth in a 'gravy' of sorts. Tea is oolong, sent from the Dragon.

Rules for the Iai tournament!
For those participating in the duels.

You will begin at Range 2 from each other.
Roll Initiative (TN 1 Meditation, plus your opening stance).
You begin with your bokken 'sheathed' at the top of each combat round.

In your Personal Folders, you will make an Iai Duel Thread (Title Round x Iai Duel v. Opponent)
After the initial post in with your initiative and opening stance, in your PF thread, you will then Staredown, bid strife.

I will then reveal the bids in the public duel thread. Then you will take turns in the public thread.

These are FIRST STRIKE duels, in that you must inflict a critical strike (Bokken are capped at Deadliness 6.) first.

If no one has inflicted a Critical Strike, we repeat the process of the staredown (strife increase + bid) in your personal folders, until we have a winner.
