Heavily Overcast, with light rain throughout the day. Much cooler than normal this time of year

Day 9
Breakfast consists of a soup made from the first harvest of spring vegetables. Crisp snap peas, the first bean sprouts, Onsen egg, in a light pork tonkotsu broth. Soba noodles are served with them, as a way of saying goodbye to winter flavors.

Soy sauce and Temari are both offered on the table for seasoning to individual taste. The unctuousness of the broth is rich, the fattyness of the broth hitting the umami area of the taste buds.

Green tea is also served.
