I don't suppose Paragon of Honour might apply here? I mean, being pious 'can be' honourable, but it's not quite so direct, so I kinda guess not, but I figured it was worth asking.

What about Traditional Adherent? Might it maybe apply to the Theology part? It's not how Kou is asking us to approach it, but rote rituals 'might' be a way to approach the kami, maybe? XD

And then - could the 'Bullheaded' (Earth) Adversity apply, maybe? The tendency to do things too directly sounds almost exactly the opposite of what is suggested here, after all XD
