Another question! If one has a Paragon advantage, could that possibly be used in Step 3?
Step Three: "What is the responsibility of the governing? What is the responsibility of the governed?"
Since a paragon might argue that upholding the virtues of bushido might be part of both governing and governed.

If I reroll due to Allergy (OH NO, MY DARK SEEKRIT IS OUT! Or something), and fail, do I get a VP back?

It still acts as a disadvantage. So yes. Just little cross-contamination to start the day

Huh...could I use my Distincton of Ally (Miya Tetsu) on the last government roll, if I'm writing about emulating his style?
I already rolled, so it might not be relevant, but just thinking here.

I could see an argument. As you've already rolled, though, it won't apply.

For Step One: "I apologize for the crudeness of the model. It is not to scale." since Taura has her own tools with her (who knew those would come in handy?) can I use the Kaiu Technique: Masterful Builder, p 59.
No big either way, but it would be fun to get to use my technique in the championship.
