There was a slender figure waiting in the room of Nekoma Shuichi. On a table, on the very edge of it, just begging to be pushed off, was a package, wrapped in fine silk.

The figure looked out of the window of the room, their dark hair pulled back to a long ponytail, a simple ribbon holding it up. Their arms across their chest, just patiently waiting.

Shuichi had been celebrating, but in true Cat fashion he'd drunk an awful lot less than others might have thought he had. Still he had no idea of what was waiting in his room and was not particularly stealthy on his approach.

The Nekoma who was waiting turned slightly when the celebrating young Nekoma entered. They're eyes, heavily rimmed in kohl, a stylistic choice from the Burning Sands, seemed brighter in the darkness of the room, as if the dim lighting from the hall candles made them glow.

"Congratulations on your gempukku, Nekoma Shuichi. This one is Nekoma Yasminder." Their voice was low, bowing to greet him. "I come bearing gifts from our home."

Surprise was quickly masked with a sweeping bow.

"Nekoma-sama. Well met."

He looked curiously at the waiting package . . . so deliciously close to the edge of the table.

Just one little push and it'll be like the teapot . . .
