"Ok," Mitsuko says warmly. "Well that seems reasonable then. A spouse to keep you company? Or just you and animal friends?" She continues in a friendly tone.

Kuroneko laughed quietly. "If I was to get a spouse I hope they enjoy animals as much as I do. Sadly, I am yet to go to a nakodo to ask for marriage. Not planning to arrange one soon so... Benten will provide and Musubi might grant me a blessing." The Phoenix shrugged.

[Kuni Mitsuko]

"I think there's plenty of time for that. No great rush. I can't believe that some people here are already betrothed! My parents haven't ever said anything to me about... that... So I'm sure it'll all come in time."

Mitsuko looks a little nervous talking about this subject, but she's making an effort to seem optimistic and unconcerned for Kuroneko's benefit.

Kuroneko shrugged. "We should just allow ourselves to serve the empire with our training. Is this your first time outside the Crab lands?" He wondered because many are not travelers like himself.
