Fumikage sat in seiza his room lit by a single flickering candle as he meditated and waited for a visitor.

He took the time to reflect in his time here and on the few people he had met and spoke to, the lessons learned and where he went from here.

Though the last would likely be changed based on his conversation this evening.

"You did well, Kitsu-san." The honeyed voice of Ikoma Ryuko camr from the sliding door. Her kimono was as regal as ever, her hair pushed up into a pair of fox ears, inset with hair pins. The burnt umber and golden silks were subdued in the lighting.

Closing the door behind her, ensuring the privacy of the pair. Pulling her hands apart from her robes, she gingerly held a small package.

"For your future assignments. Obviously we could not have these with your daisho presentation."

He did not open hos eyes immediately but heard the words and bowed, maintaining his seiza his amber eyes opened as he looked up to the Ikoma and for once they were not his usual disarmingly friendly eyes with an inviting warmth but rather cold and somewhat detached his expression neutral and then a smile cracked looking at the package.

"Thank you Ikoma-sama." He said gingerly taking the parcel as the eyes met hers "It certainly would have raised some eyebrows I imagine."

He placed the package on the ground and moved to open it.

Inside were the tools of the trade of the Lion's Shadow. Ryuko, for her part, stepped closer to the young, freshly minted Lion Samurai.

"Even still with raised eyebrows, I was thrilled to hear that one of the Shadow was sent to Tsuma. How did you find your time? Did you feel your lessons were well used here?" She asked, her voice level, yet quiet.

He observed the contents for a moment feeling the excitement and nerves mingling in his chest. He took a deep breath.

"I was excited to be chosen Ikoma-sama. Tsuma was an interesting place. My lessons were very beneficial, people see what they want, see what they expect to see. Cover seems easy to maintain." He paused "for the most part. The ones that catch hints aren't the ones you expect." He explained reflecting on the interactions he'd had.

"Overall it was a fruitful experience." He replied with a small smile his volume matching her own as he looked to the more experienced Ikoma.
