He said meeting her eyes, soft smile on his lips and maybe a playful light to those eyes and a similar shift in his tone in the second sentence.
"I would love to get to know you better Asahina-san. If you'd like to stay and chat for a while?" He holding that eye contact while playfulness gave way to Sincerity. All the while light background noise filled in the silenced born of waiting.
