I mention this in the hopes that you will not take great offense should you become the target of our jokes once the sake starts flowing, it's all in good fun."

Something in Haru's tone and posture suggested that while everything he said was truth it was only half the truth.

Something in Haru's tone and posture suggested that while everything he said was truth it was only half the truth.

See all our brothers were growing up taller than us, and they explained to us girls that it was because they put fertilizer in their shoes at night, because everyone wanted tall boys. So we all put fertilizer in our shoes and mom and dad tolerated us for a whole week before making everyone jump in the lake and explaining they'd got us."
