Masaru walked to the shrine for the smaller fortunes with a small curiosity in his eyes. The place of worship in such a state of disrepair. It was at once interesting and a little sad to see what the city decided was unimportant.

He moved through the place seeing the shrines to various "lesser fortunes" and his expression was mostly flat. He himself was a bit of a contrast wearing his fine layers of silk in clan colors a few kimono in a gradient from brown to yellow. A charm of benten resting around his neck the Bard stood out among the disrepair of the shrine around him.

Kiriko approaches the shrine and makes her prayers to the lesser Fortunes, no less important for their lesser prominence. When she finally steps away, she found herself near a young man with red hair. It was an unexpected bright pop of color nearby, so her eyes were drawn. another look and there were others...

She bowed. "Good afternoon."

Masaru looked about at the surprisingly popular shrine, though it made sense if he was inclined to search out the forgotten places that others would be as well.

The Phoenix girl had ended up nearest him so his eyes drew to her first with a soft smile and his warm ber eyes meeting hers he bowed and turned to the others "It seems I am not the only one interested in these so called "lesser" fortunes." He said, his tone friendly and open as his eyes moved between those gathered.

"I suppose I can start introductions, this one is Kitsu Masaru it is a pleasure to meet you all."

"Then perhaps we should seek a monk to put us to work this evening?" He then looks around for a monk and directly asks in what ways can he help out this evening.

"I wish to speak to our Crane hosts before doing something major, I do not wish to shame or offend them and I am finding it difficult to imagine how I will accomplish that. The Crane may very well have plans in motion already regarding this place."
