[Asahina Sakura]

She conceded again with another light smile, "True again, of course. But I would um, speak ..to say ..that uh, the spirits and ancestors-" here, her eyes flick noticeably to a spot behind the Crab, "-might want lesser craftsmanship not as an insult, but as an encouragement to tend to the site, um, religiously?" An amused smirk... before she grows serious. "So it doesn't um, fade, like this one.."

[Kaiu Taura]

Taura pondered that. "This one could see some value to that. But, if the basic structure is not sound, there might not be a chance to rescue a neglected shrine," she gestured, "from final ruin. Perhaps there are parts that could be made to wear? This one is not a temple architect nor does she claim a deep connection to the spirits, she can only work with what she understands."

[Asahina Sakura]

An ignition seemed to spark in the Asahina's eyes! "Temple architect..." she echoed in a murmur, and glanced back to the Kaiu, to the temple, and back again.
"Oh, um. I, well, I'm not trained as an architect, per se, just an artist... but I do work closely with spirits, and um, one of my ancestors, in particular? And I, you see, I can, I mean-- I think you've got a good head on your shoulders, Kaiu-san, you see what needs to be seen? Your insight is incredibly valuable, I can totally see why you were sent here," Sakura continues in a friendly tone.

"Domo, Asahina-san," she says with a bob of her head. "Would the Crane be needing more . . . secure architecture?" Had she heard something about war with the Lion Clan? Oh, she needed to pay more attention to the news.

"This one would be happy, with her Clan's permission of course, to work with you on temple designs, it would be a pleasant and interesting change from her usual work."
