"I think my furry friends have more human friends than this one. I am glad they do. If I am to be absent in their lives at least there will be someone to take care of them." He nodded as he scritched little Tori's head. "I know Kiba will be fine but this guy... he is like my brother."

"Meant with each other."

She grinned.

Kuroneko chuckled and shook his head. "I think I have that under control... I remember these two when they were little Kiba would hiss at Tori. Eventually they became friends."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Hard work, was it?"

Kuroneko giggled. "I had a lot of fun and it isn't hard work if you are having fun."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Well, that's true enough. No prizes for doin' somethin' y'wanted to anyhow."

"What about you? I heard that boat always have a nice pet. Some have monkeys others have birds... oh... that would be exciting to go to foreign lands and find so many different animals..." He started to get lost in his own dreams of many foreign creatures.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Oh, not on the Yukikaze. Cap'n Kaito says we trainees are the only animals he's got time for."

She chuckled.

"But m'brother Ichiki has a pet monkey, which th'bastard went an' named after me!"

[Shiba Kuroneko]

"Monkeys are smart. You are a smart girl. You shouldn't feel offended by it. Feel honored... Even if your brother tried to make you feel bad... You may as well be a monkey at heart. Smart, daring and free spirited." He nodded and smiled.

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Bah! Th'damn thing's not even housebroken!"

[Shiba Kuroneko]

He shook his head and chuckled. "Where you see insult I see something else. You know he probably will train it and then he'll see his mistake." Kuro smiled. "Then you'll see how much you have changed."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Just so she doesn't sit on top of m'head again..."

Kuroneko chuckled as Tori climbed up to his head. "I think they enjoy just being on the top of the world."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Well. That I can relate to."

[Shiba Kuroneko]

He looked up at the Sable that had started to pull his hair. "Alright alright..." Kuroneko looked at the Mantis girl and sighed. "It has been quite the interesting conversation Kasumi san...but my friend here seems to be hungry. I have to go get him some food."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"Oh? What's he fond of? I could maybe look around for next time I run into ya."

[Shiba Kuroneko]

"Dried fish and fruits..." Tori made noises to hurry up Kuroneko as he came down and pull Kuroneko's tail long hair. "We are going, we are going... ou ou ou."

[Yukikaze no Kasumi]

"I'll keep a lookout... fine winds and following seas, Shiba-san!"

[Shiba Kuroneko]

"May the winds always favor your sails." He smiled
