Jiro was within the tea house after the mornings events. It was a test that he didn't particularly want to do well on, and for the most part he hadn't. But he was a bit put off by his outburst of violence in the last portion of the test. So tea it was.

Not far behind, Sakura entered and looked around for a friendly face. Spotting Jiro, she made her way over towards his table, clearing her throat gently to catch his attention before bowing.
"Um, Shiba-san?" She offered a smile, cheeks flushed pink from the brisk winds outside. "Can I sit with you?"

"You certainly may, Asahina-san. Please join me for a bit of tea," he replies, as he readies a second cup. "I am having a red tea, if that is good? Or we can order something else."

She smiled and nodded as she lowered to sit. "Red tea is just fine, thank you. How have you, um, been?"

"In the tests? As well as I expected when I got my invitation," he jokes with a small chuckle. "But doing well enough in general. How about yourself?"

He pours into the cup for Sakura and passes it to her, the tea giving off a very rich scent. It has been steeped for a strong flavor.

"That's good! Good to hear! I uh, I'm also doing well? I am... doing well, in all things?" She dips her head in thanks at the tea, lifting it and wrapping chilled fingers around the cup.

"I am glad to hear it," he says with a warm smile. "Have you been told what you will be doing after Tsuma?"

She blinked. "I haven't? Should I have? I mean, letters are being sent but nothing is officially arranged?"

"Was just curious if I would need to send letters somewhere other than here mostly," he says with a smile. "And I had thought you from Tsuma so I was guessing you might have heard already. Not that you should have expected to, simply a possibility."

"....I think we're talking about different letters," she said with an embarrassed laugh.

"Ah, no. You were talking about letters related to your future right? I was just curious if you would know where you would be so that I would know where to send letters for you," he clarifies. "But if not I can send them to you here, right?"

"Um. Wherever I go after the Championship here, know that your letters won't go unanswered?"

He smiles at that. "I suspected they would not. Just trying to manage the logistics a bit."

"Are you excited for the duels tomorrow?"
