Kaori glanced around, trying to find the familiar face of the merchant she saw the other day. She wasn't alone, though, as Jun joined her today.

"I think they might be able to give us some answers, or at least pointers, about what we saw the other day. Hopefully."

Jun, ears (metaphorically) pricked to the hubbub of the market, watches Kaori operate with professional-ish interest.

"That's better than charging in head-first. It could be nothing, anyway." But his instincts--very untested instincts though they may be--say otherwise. "That foreign pipe I showed you came from somewhere, though."

A stall set to look like a Jurt, a large overhang into the bazaar was quite prominent. A stocky, barrel chested merchant stood before it, holding up some wares as he called for people to shop. His mustache was thick, and drooped down past his lips in a handlebar style. His skin was quite tan, weathered from long rides in the sun, and a fur cap sat atop his head. "Is that... It is!" He bellowed out, clapping his hands and handing off the wares to one of the other merchants in the jurt.

"Kaeru Kaori-san!" He cheers moving up to the pair, before clapping her on both shoulders with his large hands. "How good to see you again!"

Kaori smiled widely." Certainly, certainly it is me." she moved closer. "It seems that the Fortune's conspire for us not to be too far form each other. I must say, I did notice you earlier in the market, so I hoped to pay a friendly visit. With a friend of mine." She waved towards the Dragon.

"This is Kitsuki Jun-sama, a fellow competitor in the Topaz tournament. We were hoping to ask you about some people over here at the market. You always seem to have friends everywhere."

Jun bows politely but not too formally, guessing that excessively nice manners might not take him very far with this friend of Kaori's.

"Good afternoon, sir. Kaeru-san speaks highly of you. She says hardly anything gets past you when it comes to trading," he says with a warm smile. Well, she'd said something roughly to that effect, at least. No harm in making it sound good.
