In the rooms reserved for Imperial guests, Seppun Ryuusei waits, still adjusting to the weight of the wakizashi at his hip.

Taking her place beside him comes Asahina Aozora not long after, to wait patiently for their time to be seen.

Ryuusei bows deeply to her, offering a small smile.
"The new name will take getting used to," he says. "If you still want me to do so, that is."

She bows in return and rightens to inch a bit closer to him, "Uh. Of course that's what I want." she says reassuringly.

Ryuusei smiles slightly, sighs, nods his head.
"That's a relief," he says, and he settles in to await Tokaji.

At the appointed time, Seppun Tokaji entered. He was relaxed in posture, having been granted the afternoon relieved of duties for the day. He looked at his son, then to the Asahina, bowing slightly.
His eyes fell to his son, and there was a slight uptick to his lips, a smile.
"You did very well for yourself, son."

She bowed in return, though noticeably lower, and said nothing- her gaze flicking from father to son and back again.

Ryuusei rises, bows formally to his father.
"Thank you, sir," he says. "I have endeavored to honor the Family, the School, and our line. Always.
"Shall I send for tea? I recall you prefer Purple Needle, although I think you might appreciate the Darjeeling I've happened into here."
