"Things sometimes aren't as simple for alliances shift and enemies might become allies in a temporary state. What always remains is friendship even if we are rivals we can still be friends." Kiba yawned and Tori moved to the Shiba's head. The Shiba chuckled.

"And still, friendship is no shield from another samurai's lord", the Lion countered.

[Shiba Kuroneko]

"That is true thus a true friend would understand the duties of a samurai to their lords." He replied petting Tori. "We understand that not all is what destiny guides you to, but what is meant to be done for one's lord."

[Akodo Michi]

"Destiny", she snorted. "As you say."

[Shiba Kuroneko]

Kuroneko tilted his head in curiosity. "You don't believe in destiny?" It was more curiosity than a question.

"Whether I do or not has no meaning, but it is foolish to allow matters to play out, believing you can do nothing due something so fanciful."

"What if everything was written by the fortunes and we are just puppets of their show. Or maybe we are more like pieces of a shoji board played by the Lady Sun and Lord Moon." He shook his head.

[Akodo Michi]

"A pointless discussion, not only have you no way of knowing, but creating lives has no meaning if it is true. I believe the Fortunes are wiser than that."

[Shiba Kuroneko]

The cat on Kuro's lap jumped off the young shugenja's lap. "Akodo sama, I am a fool..." He stood up and gave the Akodo a bow not to say good bye but one of a performer giving thanks to his public. "Do we really know the wisdom of the fortunes? Something that I must understand... Like Emma-O's judgement of a soul... how are we to know what truly is and isn't.. to Yomi or back to the Karmic wheel. Destiny to be reborn soul of a warrior but granted a gift to be better." The Shiba chuckled "Or perhaps be worse since little we remember of our past life."

[Akodo Michi]

"Precisely, you do not know, you admit you do not know, yet speak as if you do", the Lion replied, her eyes did not watch the cat scurry away. "If you wish to offer possibility, that is a different matter, but cannot be said as true."

"I did? I thought I just posed a question? Perhaps I was wrong and made it sound like a certainty." He gave an apologetic bow. "I apologize if it sounded like so."

"Posing a question and offering a thought are different things, Shiba-san", she said plainly. "They sound the same, but one is made to gain information, the other is to offer your view in disguise, or worse, to simply list an alternative that isn't helpful."

[Shiba Kuroneko]

"Every bit of information is helpful Akodo san... Even if it is thought as useless. The idea is that only those fool enough to see the value of what it is useless to some; it is of great value to others." He took Tori in his hand and petted it. He offered the Sable to the girl to carry or to pet. "What are you here for, Akodo san?"
