Re: [EN11] Performance

Surprise was quickly masked with a sweeping bow.

"Nekoma-sama. Well met."

He looked curiously at the waiting package . . . so deliciously close to the edge of the table.

Just one little push and it'll be like the teapot . . .

Re: [EN11] Performance

Shuichi had been celebrating, but in true Cat fashion he'd drunk an awful lot less than others might have thought he had. Still he had no idea of what was waiting in his room and was not particularly stealthy on his approach.

Re: Destroyer of Teapots, Murderer of Bonsai. Seto Q& . . .

grr, argh. Really wanted to have stolen Cat chat with ninja Cat, but then life, and that was going to be a fairly energy intensive conversation to work at through ms impassive here, so alas... Really glad someone picked up that minor clan to run with though. Where is Seto likely to go after this? D...

Ninja?!?!

Sounds like there was more to Seto than met the eye. Care to share?
Ninja's don't exist.

Seto is a Nekoma Dancer, totally not a Nekoma Shadowdancer and ninja hunter of Nasty Bad Tiggers from the Ivory Kingdoms, with a side of paid assassination. Totally not.

Re: [LA11] - Closing Ceremonies - A Farewell to Future Heroes

The Cat was now dressed in the extravagant performing clothes of the Nekoma Troupes. He stepped forward to receive his daisho knowing that nothing could be broken this day. No teapot. No bonsai. No weakened weapons. Only a Cat child that would be gone in but a moment. Seto began his oath to the Neko...

Re: [EE10] - Iaijutsu Final Observation - Aya v. Rin -

Seto was there, observing. He'd been there for all of the duels to be honest, just proving very good at not drawing any notice to himself. The Emperor moving to judge the final himself was enough for the Cat to be surprised enough to forget himself.

Re: [EE9] - The Feast of Thanks

The Cat, already somewhat fixated on trying not to break anything, was now totally fixated on not breaking anything in front of the Emperor.

His bow was notable for being carefully angled to not even come close to the table.

Re: [EE9] - The Feast of Thanks

The Cat were a fairly rich clan, for a Minor Clan anyway, so Seto had a very good 'best' kimono with a full set of accompaniments. He also had a good gift, agreed upon by the clan before his journey here. A performance by one of the best Nekoma entertainment troupes, that just so happened to be the ...

Seto was still in stealth mode as he stepped back from the broken blade and stayed to watch the others.

Re: [LM9] - The Test of the Warrior

Seto looked rather blankly at the smith's tools. He'd seen a blacksmith at work . . . but as both smith and apprentice had been shirtless Seto had not been watching the hammers . . . He hammered a dent flat without realising he'd just transferred the dent to the other side and weakened the weapon ev...

Re: [EA8] - Art for the Temple, Balm For the Soul

Performing . . . the Cat Clan's purpose . . . well public purpose at the very least. Seto should be good at this. In short, he was. A beautiful song offered up in praise of the Fortunes, combined with a ritualistic dance. Seto had learned this at the many shrines on Cat Island and it was just as app...

Re: [LM8] - Test of Piety

Seto did as he was told and looked inward. All he saw was a teapot toppling off a table in slow motion. He was reliving his failed test from earlier in the week. It tipped very slowly. He could see the individual droplets of tea escaping the spout and from the lid as it parted company from the main ...

Re: (D6 LA) Paint Party II (Crane Quarters)

And possibly the weirdest ever gifting ceremony was complete. At least he hadn't had to resort to leaving it outside the Crane quarters at night and slinking off back to his own rooms . . . "Thank you, Kasumi-san." Her accent hadn't yet proved impenetrable to the Cat. He'd heard worse at Cat Island ...

Re: (D6 LA) Paint Party II (Crane Quarters)

There was an instant of pure terror on his face before the usual laid back, ready for anything Seto returned.

"No, no . . . I'll only kill it again, I'm sure."

Re: (D6 LA) Paint Party II (Crane Quarters)

Seto actually looked . . . sad to see the bonsai go. He'd assassinated it though, so it would be up to the Mantis to try and resurrect the poor wilted, practically dead thing. "I hope you can revive it, it doesn't deserve what I did to it." There was still the matter of the teapot, but the Crane had...

Re: [LM7] - Test of the Ancestor

The Cat ancestor list was very short, considering they'd only been around a couple of decades. Wait, they expected him to go back into the Unicorn roots before that? Surely not . . . The poem went better, something about cats being best with an audience, but the presentation was lacking. Perhaps the...
